I’ve been here many times. This night, it was pretty cold so I ordered a chicken sound. It was nice and warm and really hit the spot. I didn’t want to order anything too filling.

The food quality is always good here, but the staff members seemed a little distant.

Love the food here if I had more time in Miami, next time, I will not go to the "International" Lamest Competition. I will definitely come back here, taste like home, taste like Cuba!

This was my third visit here in the past year visiting my aunt in Hialeah. I don't speak much Spanish, but the staff is very accommodating. Tonight I brought my wife and kids. Adel was our waiter. He not only got us through the language barrier, but he made it fun and got everything on order accurate. Not only was the food great, but we had a great time and will be talking about it for a long time!

Places has great Cuban food. Great customer service. I go here all the time.

Good food but the most impressive part was the restrooms. Clean and neat.

I am at the Valentines special dinner. Not good. 54.00 for sitting to eat uncooked shrimp and nowhere to dance. They lied in the advertising. Was told by worker that there will be dancing. No place to dance. Food was so bad.

Used to come here for many years. Stopped in again when visiting and just not the same. Place was empty and lacked good service. Food was good.

I ordered a Paella and a milanesa the paella didn’t have lobster and the portion was very small same thing with the milanesa very small portion. I stopped going to La carrera because they raised the prices and portions very small. Big mistake going back. I will definitely not go back.

Delicious, flavorful food at amazing prices! Authentic Cuban classics with fast, friendly service. Don't forget your Cuban coffee to top it off! I used to come here a lot when I worked in the area and I sure do miss it.

Ordered again bbq chicken on doordashCame with no spoon or fork, no bbq sauce for bbq chicken, no rice (which i got the last time) not worth ordering online. People packing the order dont care cause there is nothing in it for them...

Food was ok a friend and I ordered the same food but our meat cooked differently. Well we got out order backwards the rice was hard and dry. Other than that it's an ok place to go.

The food was pretty good, I must say. The best sauce was their signature hook sauce. It went good with everything. Wings were good - unbreaded better than breaded. Lemon pepper was ok. Get hot or Cajun.Best thing to get was the seafood fried rice and the crabs in the signature sauce.

I specifically asked for plastic utensils since I was ordering food to go they did not give it to me I asked for diced onion and parsley I did not receive. the soup had one piece of chicken in it the rest was noodles no flavor at all tasted like boiled chicken.

Very busy places excellent service and food

Went to this Cuban resturant on a local tour of Miami. Ordered five entrees which came out to our liking. I ordered the churrasco steak with black beans and rice. The flavors were authentic cuban and did not dissapoint. The desserts with cuban coffee were a great ending to a good time. Unfortunately our appetizer was not up to par. I did like the friendly service and the atmosphere. Will visit again.

Anytime I'm in town it's a must that I stop by here and at any of their locations. Service is always great, and their food is excellent. If you never been you have to start off with their shrimp/pineapple stuffed tostones and ham croquetas, then for the main plate I always get shrimp in creole sauce or the bistec palomilla. Can't go wrong here guys and finish of the meal with a cafe con leche

This place is always full (which is a great thing) they even have live music in the front deck area which is so fun for a date night, especially since this is a Latin restaurant ( can I get an AMEN from all my Hispanics ) LOL who am I! Anyway.. let's talk service, a little slow, they should have more waiters but with a little wave they always make their way.

Very tasty food very happy to eat there but like I said on the last review about Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine the food used to be larger portions once they stablished business they cut all the portions and raise the price please keep the price low you'll have more people come in

Absolutely terrific Cuban food. Today was my first visit I tried a variety of food and everything was absolutely perfect. All of the staff and waitresses were amazing. Each of the different food dishes were cooked perfectly. And yes the Mojitos were amazing. if you want to try Cuban food this is definitely the place to go. great price great service great food you cannot go wrong going here.

Came here for a car show in the shopping plaza and had their breakfast buffet. A lot of variety and good food & service.

Food was alright with very big portions. The bread served while you are ordering is a perfect appetizer! I ordered the steak, mash, and broccoli. The steak was a bit bland, mash was good, and to me the broccoli had some fishy taste. La Caretta is well known for Cuban cuisine and is frequented by the Cuban population here in Hialeah!

This is consistently a good place to come to for comfort Cuban food. Their daily specials are very good, specially Sunday's Tamal en Cazuela, which is worth coming here for ( huge portions). Mariquitas are a great starter to share, you get a plate full. The croquetas and stuffed plantains are delicious as well.

The waiter was on point!!! Food arrived quickly and out was delicious. To go boxes and check arrived before I could ask. Altogether, it was a great experience!!!

Stay away!!! Came here for breakfast buffet. The selection was spartan at the least, the food was cold, eggs cold, potatoes cold, silverware/plates were dirty and service non existent. I have gone to other LaCarreta and had gread food. This place is obvoiusly not well run. NEVER coming back.

I come here often for business meetings!!! I personally think this is the best location. I could go on and on about the different dishes. But they are allllll amazing. Dont forget your cuban coffee
